How To Workout Effectively At Home!
Exercise plays a vital part in our overall health, but if you haven't been doing it because of reasons like costs or gym memberships, equipment etc, you have your body and like me, you too can get an effective workout at home. But working out at home can be very boring, or unstimulating; which is why, in order to ensure that you achieve similar results you would at a gym, certain measures need to be put in place. As such, I have highlighted below a few things I do,programs I use to keep me on track as well as make my workout at home more fun, more interesting and of course more effective.
Have the will to workout.
It’s very easy to say “I’m going to work out today, or in one hour”, but in actuality it might be more difficult than you think. I mean, the bed, the couch, the tele, laptop, so many distractions at home can cause you to keep putting it off. But if you have a strong will to do it, you will ensure that you remain beyond determined, and it’s at the forefront of your mind.
Determine which workouts are best for you or use your body.
Not every workout will give you the same results that it would give another. Not everyone has the same ability to perform the same types of exercises. Therefore, certain workout routines and types will present certain results or could hurt you; therefore, before you partake in any form of exercise, ensure that you are physically able to handle it. So if you want to be more flexible, do yoga. If you don’t like yoga. do something else. And the story goes. Note, however; that in order to determine which is best for you, you need to try different routines, and learn about the different types of workouts and their proper forms in order to gain maximum results; like Adam explains in This Article or how to do them in these Womens Health Mag Articles.
Invest a little.
Obviously, you won’t have access to the same equipment a gym has. But, you can invest in similar.Because I love yoga, I have invested in mats, in Yoga DVDs from Namaste, I follow youtube channels such as Do You Yoga and pages of such on social media. I also love toning my body, therefore I have invested in weights and jump ropes, and most importantly comfortable shoes and clothing. “Please make sure you invest is a GREAT Sports Bra, (Check out NIKE and Danskin) which will provide excellent support from low-high impact. It is NOT FUN, having your boobs battle with each other while working out. :)".
In addition, follow Youtube channels like Zuzka, Fitness Blender, BeFit,Blogilates and ToneItUp where you will gain access to thousands of FREE workout videos. From Dance, Yoga, HIITs, Cardio, to Fine Toning. Use the resources you have at your disposal. I would love to that most of use have smart phones today. There are thousands of training apps you can use. I love Nike Training app, because it is very user friendly "you can track your progress and see which friends uses it as well" and effective. If you can’t afford to invest liquid into any physical equipment, use your yard, your stairs, your kitchen floor, the community playing field, take a hike, go running or swimming at the beach, take a walk down the street. Be innovative and Improvise.
Have a support system.
If you don’t have the determination to do something, find something or someone who will inspire you and motivate you to do so.The internet allows us to be are exposed to millions of people. Secret, some of these people are looking for inspiration from people like you. For example, my friend Floriane from France, has an active Facebook Page, where women meet virtually to push each other to do better. Tone It Up also has a community on their site “which is free” where women inspire, meet and greet, and push each other to achieve their workout goals. You just need to find your niche and settle your little self there. *_^.
Replenish and maintain a healthy diet.
The electrolytes lost during workouts need to be put back in. Drink plenty of water, Smoothies, and Eat Healthy foods. Don’t force yourself to eat something like oh I don’t know Kale,or wheatgrass. You will not enjoy your meal and you will give up. Rather, look for new ways to incorporate them into your meals, or find alternatives which will give you similar or same benefits. However; don’t splurge on junk, or other persons cooking. Get a recipe book, research healthy smoothie recipes and research alternatives for foods you enjoy.
Track your progress and have fun with it.
It is important to know that you are making progress to meet your goals. That way, if you are falling back in one area, you can think of ways to adjust the sails to continue on. Create a calendar where you can take note of the inches lost, or if you are into regularly weighing yourself track that as well. Let me know how you have improved and made your at home workouts more effective, and interesting below; and happy toning.
